Today, we gather to celebrate the life and cherish the memory of a beloved man whose strength,
courage, and love touched many lives. After a long illness, he departed this life at the age of 55 leaving behind a legacy of faith, resilience, and kindness. Though we grieve his loss, we are grateful for the time we shared with him. May this service honor his life celebrate his memory, and bring comfort to all who loved him.


Anthony Williams, the youngest of seven children was born on February 3, 1971 to loving parents the late James Sid Williams and Annie Lee Bailey Williams. Anthony was baptized at an early age at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church where he attended faithfully until his health declined. Anthony graduated from Holly Hill Roberts High School in 1989. Anthony was an employee of the South Carolina Disability Board and worked at Husqvarna for many years. Due to health concerns, Anthony retired from his employment.


Anthony was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Boston Celtics fan. He loved sports and was a regular attendee at Lake Marion High School basketball, softball, and volleyball games cheering on his nieces and nephews. Anthony was predeceased by his parents, James and Annie Lee Williams; siblings, Shirley Wright, James Williams Jr., and Sheila Mack as well as several uncles and aunts.


Anthony leaves precious memories with his children, Delanta Collier and Bridget Collier of Holly Hill, SC; Ishmeal Williams of St. George, SC, and Ava Williams of Santee, SC. Siblings, Peggy Williams and Patty Williams of Holly Hill, SC, Betty Williams of Eutawville, SC, Jerome Stukes and Tony Stukes of Atlanta, Georgia, two granddaughters, Adrienna Collier and Dewanda Collier of Holly Hill, SC. Bonus brothers and sisters, David(Evette) Williams of Santee, SC, Ruth (Claude) Silva and Dorothy(Robert) Halls, both of Jersey City, New Jersey and Willie Mae Davis of Holly Hill, SC; two brothers-in-law, Earl Wright, Jr. and Nathaniel Mack both of Holly Hill, SC, one uncle David Bailey of Holly Hill, SC and one aunt Polly Green of Eutawville, SC.; special friends Andre Mack and Whitney Sumpter and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.


Anthony’s love, laughter, and memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
