Born August 12, 1968 to Willie and the late Justine Lee Halls of Cross, South
Carolina. Anton, “better known as Keitha”, gained his heavenly wings, Monday,
November 27, 2023 after a long fight with Sickle Cell. At an early age, he joined
Greater St. Paul United Methodist Church and supported the church spiritually and
financially through all his battles. Anton graduated from Holly Hill Roberts High
School in 1986 and DeVry Institute in Atlanta, Georgia in 1988. He received an
Associate Degree in Computer Technology and began working at IBM in Poughkeepsie,
New York. He later transferred to Manassas, Virginia and there started his own business,
Elbow Grease – detailing cars.
His love for the country brought him home and he started driving 18-wheelers across the
country, but somehow, he fell in love with cooking. He opened County Line Grill. His
tasty grilled chicken earned him the infamous nickname, “Chick’n Man”. He worked for
several clubs, organizations, friends, and of course his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jessie and Dorothy Halls, and Willie
and Viola Lee and his loving and caring mother Justine Lee Halls.
Anton will be greatly missed by his father, Willie Halls, and his sister Kalin T. Halls.
