Freddie Wright, Jr., the son of the late Freddie Wright, Sr. and the late Eula Mae Wright was born on October 9, 1964 in Harlem, NYC. He was the youngest of 3 siblings. Freddie spent the majority of his childhood and adult life in NYC and later migrated to South Carolina to live out his latter life in Johns Island, S.C.
Freddie peacefully departed this life on February 1, 2025 at Roper St. Francis Hospital Charleston, S.C. with his family members at his bedside. He received all of his education through the New York City Public School System and was a proud graduate of DeWitt Clinton High School, Bronx, New York.
For many years he was employed as a N.Y.C Traffic Enforcement Agent and after relocating South, he ventured into the business world for several years.
“Remember The Creator In The Days Of Thy Youth”
During Freddie’s summer visits with his grandparents and family in South Carolina, he was baptized at the Springfield Missionary Baptist Church Eutawville, S.C. Freddie’s witty presence will surely be missed by all of us who knew him. While around him, one always had to stay on one’s P(s) and Q(s). “POP” as most of us affectionally called him was never lost for words and would keep you laughing.
