Lillie Ann Rivers, a daughter of the late Francis and Lizzie Snell Rivers, was born on February 18, 1969, in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
Lillie Ann Rivers answered the Master’s call on Sunday afternoon, August 4, 2024, at Lexington Medical Center in Columbia, South Carolina after an extended illness.
She received her formal education in the public schools of Orangeburg County and in 1987, graduated from Holly Hill Roberts High School. She furthered her education at South Carolina State University and received an Associates of Science at OC Technical College. She later went to ECPI to become an Analytic Code Analyzer.
At an early age, she accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at Springfield Baptist Church. She was employed at Palmetto GBA, LLC and Belk.
She will be greatly missed by: three brothers, Wayne(Patricia) Rivers, Anthony Rivers (Shirley LaPord), and Reverend Francis (Malqueen) Rivers, all of Vance, South Carolina; sister, Sandra (Joseph) Cooper of Columbia, South Carolina; nephew, Christopher Rivers of New York, Terrence Rivers and Jason Cooper of Columbia, South Carolina, Anthony and Wayne Rivers of Vance, South Carolina; one niece, Ashley Rivers, of Vance, South Carolina; aunts, Eva (Frank) Snell and Annie Mae Rivers; uncles, MacArthur (Betty) Rivers, and Robert Rivers; special cousin, William James, Jr.; The Holly Hill Roberts Class of 1987, and a host of other relatives and friends.
