Peggy Ann Davis was born on November 7, 1951, in Holly Hill, South Carolina, to Wilbert and Carrie Davis. As their only daughter, Peggy was cherished by her family. She graduated from Miami Southwest Senior High School in 1969 and continued her education at the University
of Miami. During her time at the university, Peggy began working with Southern Bell Telephone Company, a role that set the foundation for her long career in telecommunications.
She later worked with Convergys, a subsidiary of BellSouth, where she remained until a company downsizing gave her the opportunity to follow her true passion: real estate. Peggy enjoyed a successful career as a realtor with Keller Williams before retiring in 2022 to care for her father in South Carolina.
A faithful servant of Christ, Peggy gave her life to the Lord in her young adulthood under the guidance of Reverend Joseph Coats at Glendale Baptist Church in Miami, Florida. Wherever life took her, Peggy made it a priority to join and worship with fellow believers. Upon moving to South Carolina, she visited Greater Unity AME Church in Holly Hill, her family’s church. Later, she joined Riverland Church under the leadership of Pastor Christopher Russo. She eagerly participated in the prayer and Bible study groups. Peggy found immense joy in
worshipping and serving others, and her unwavering faith was a cornerstone of her life.
