"Blessed is the hand that gives because it will receive abundantly".- Luke 6:38
Ms. Quintella E. Wilson was born on August 6, 1996, to Juliet Profit and Derrick Wilson. On Sunday, July 21, 2024, God called her home.
Quin attended the public school system in Holly Hill and graduated from Lake Marion High School. She also attended Allen University. Quin was a very talented individual. From basketball to music, there was nothing that she couldn’t master.
Quin was a faithful member of Miracle Faith Temple United Church of God, and accepted Christ at an early age. She was a former member of MFT Heavenly Mass Choir, as well as a member of the “Sisters of Faith.” Quin enjoyed singing, making people laugh, and most importantly, being a devoted mother to her two children: Simon and Symone Wilson. They were “the apple of her eyes”. Quin would do for anyone. She had a “big heart” and gave endlessly. As Quin would say, “God got me.”
She was preceded in death by her son, Quincy E. Wilson. She is survived by: her loving children, Simon and Symone Wilson of the home; loving mother, Juliet Profit, of the home; six siblings, Omar Profit of Turberville, SC, Jasmine (Brandon) Amous of Holly Hill, SC, Benjamin Calhoun of Anchorage, AK, Bioya Calhoun of Columbia, SC, Enyla Shivers of the home, and Purity Wilson of Orangeburg, SC; an exceptional father figure, Michael Wilson of Elloree, SC; nine nieces and nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles, supportive church family and cousins. She will be remembered for her love and generosity towards others, her sense of humor and kind heart.
