Summer Deonna Scott died on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at MUSC Health in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
She was the daughter of Richard Deon Scott and April Jenkins. She was born on June 22, 2018, at Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, South Carolina. Summer loved to cook and bake different things. She enjoyed shopping like her grandma, Linda, and was always ready to travel. She also enjoyed playing with family and friends and had a smile that would light up any room. She was always happy. She was educated at Denise Scott Daycare, Vance Providence Elementary School, and moved to St. James Gaillard Elementary School.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Tommy Jenkins.
In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memories are her sister, Calee Camp-Scott; grandparents, Mrs. Mary Jenkins, Mrs. Linda Fulton-Scott, and Richard (Tracey) Scott; aunts, Shinika Jefferson and Lashawnda Scott; uncles, Andre (Shantae)Jenkins, LaCra Jenkins, and Christian Tumblin; godparents, Ophelia Kennedy, Walter Kennedy, and Deshawn Harper; a special aunt, Denise Scott; a special friend from school, Messiah Davis; other aunts and uncles; and a host of cousins, other family, and friends.
