Tracy Lee Ashby is the daughter of Elizabeth Elouise Ashby and Ernest Ashby. She was born on
September 1 st , 1973 in Brooklyn, NY. On December 10, 2023, she departed this life.
Tracy was educated in the New York City Public Schools system, going to P.S. 257 for
elementary, P.S. 318 for middle school, ultimately graduating from Erasmus Hall High School.
She loved singing and running track. She always says the summer of ’88 was her favorite but she
fell in love with South Carolina and the country life at a young age during her summer visits.
Tracy and Robert welcomed Daiveena in 1991. Tracy and Daiveena relocated to Eutawville,
South Carolina with her cousin, Deb. Tracy then met the love of her life, Stafford Robinson in
1997. They welcomed their first child and oldest son together, Donovyn in 1999. They made it
all complete with when they welcomed their baby boy Dorian in 2005.
Tracy values family and fun to the fullest. She loves her family and enjoys holiday celebrating,
decorating, and gatherings. Throughout the years, Tracy hosted parties and cooked for family
and friends. Her biggest passions are family, all genres of music, whether singing or dancing,
watching all sorts of movies and tv shows, playing games like Ludo, and home décor. She is
extremely creative.
She not only values mottos and mantras but she actually shows them. LIVE, LAUGH, and
LOVE can describe Tracy’s daily life. She would make sure to display such phrases around the
house to remind everyone to always be happy and spread love. Tracy would bring smiles and
laughter even in the toughest times and would open her home and heart to any and everyone. She
always wanted everyone having fun, safe, and together. Tracy also has a love for fashion as
every true New York woman yet she has the most Southern hospitality at the same time. The best
of both worlds!
Her smile and voice are infectious. You could hear her screaming at the top of her lungs to turn
up the music and follow up with singing to each song, even if she claimed to not like it. Tracy is
very helpful, forgiving, welcoming, supportive, and provided a good listening ear with advice if
necessary. Her smile and friendly nature always made her friends and family feel loved and lifted
the hearts of so many especially in their times of need.
