Willie Mae Prezzy Small, affectionately known as “Dodie,” was born on August 3, 1944, to the late Janie Jackson Prezzy and William Prezzy in Holly Hill, South Carolina. Willie Mae launched her education at the public schools in Holly Hill, South Carolina.
Willie Mae was united in holy matrimony to the late Sinclair Small, Sr., on March 1, 1963. She was a very dedicated, loving, and supportive wife. Willie Mae worked many jobs. She was employed at Days Inn for many years of her life. She also worked for St. Julian Plantation in Eutawville, South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Sinclair Small, Sr.; brothers, Ervin Prezzy and Robert “Rock” Prezzy; sisters, Annie Lee Goodwin; and son, Sinclair Wright.
Willie Mae leaves loving memories in the hearts of her five children, Diane (James) Keitt, Jr., of Cameron, SC, Morris (Beverly) Small of Bowman, SC, Sinclair (Victoria Wright) Small, Jr., of the home, Janie Small of the home, and James Small, of Eutawville, SC; sisters, Bettie Ann (John) Rivers of Holly Hill, SC, and Ollie (Marvin) Anderson of Garner, NC; thirteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
